Ryanair – Dublin – 2011
The crew of a Ryanair flight failed to realise that the left engine had touched the runway when landing at Dublin airport, a report by the Air Accident Investigation Unit has found.
The damage caused to the left engine nacelle (cover) went unnoticed for two subsequent flights, the report found. However, the damage was minor and there were no injuries.
Ryanair – Rome Ciampino – 2008
On 29 August 2008, A Ryanair plane, performed a go-around at Ciampino due to an unsafe main gear indication. The crew decided to divert to Rome Fiumicino, where the airplane performed a safe landing.
Wizzair – Rome – 2009
On 12 April 2009, a Wizzair airplane was forced to return at the airport of Timisoara (Romania) after reporting a problem with the landing gear which remained open-stuck. The plane with 147 passangers on board was flying on a route to Rome (Italy) when 20 minutes into the flight a strong smell of burned plastic was felt into the cabin. The landing was done without troubles at about 14:30 local time.

Ryanair – Rome – 2008
On 10 November 2008, the aircraft operating Ryanair flight FR4102 (which departed from Frankfurt Hahn) suffered multiple bird strikes to both engines on its landing approach to Rome-Ciampino Airport. Following the incident and as a precaution 2 cabin crew and 4 passengers have received medical attention.
