Wizzair – Luton – 2010

On Jun 26th 2010, a Wizzair A320-200, registration HA-LPB, operating from Budapest to Luton, encountered a problem during its climb. It has been reported problems with the landing gear. Crew decided to return to Budapest where it landed safely.

Easyjet – London Luton – 2008

On 6 April 2008, an Easyjet aircraft taking 119 people from Athens to London, had to turn back for an emergency landing because one of the engins caught fire. No one was injured but passegers get very scared.

On 21 December 2007, an Easyjet flying from Dortmund to London Luton had declare emergency and speed up arrival after smoke developed in the cabin.

Easyjet – Luton – 2003

On 14 August 2003, a Boeing 737-300, registered HB-III, operating as EasyJet Flight 903 service to London, sustained substantial damage due to hail. The aircraft quickly returned to Geneva where passengers where unloaded via
stairs. Hail damage was visible to various parts of the aircraft including the nose, cockpit windows, engines, leading edges of the main wings as well as horizontal stabilizer as well as tail.
